Attention: Course registration for all Korean language courses is done through the regular online course registration system. However, the dates for registration may vary. You will be informed about the exact dates and procedures by email.

Introductory Level 1

This class will be taught twice per week for 2 hours. You will learn to read, write, speak and understand basic Korean (Hangeul, 한글). You will learn general language skills like introducing yourself, ordering food, counting, telling time, buying things and making a phone call. This class is taught from 18:00 to 20:00. You can earn 3 credits by successfully completing this course. (F – A+ grading)

Introductory Level 2

This class is for students who successfully completed Introductory Level 1 and want to continue studying Korean non-intensively. This class might also be suitable to students who have basic knowledge of Korean already.

Intensive Language Course

This class is taught 5 days per week for 4 hours per day. You will learn to read, write, speak and understand Korean on an intensive level. There are 6 different levels for the intensive Korean language class and you will be assessed to measure your level. Occasionally on Fridays cultural excursions are organized for the participating students. For exchange students, only afternoon class (14:00 – 18:00) is available. The program also starts halfway of September (fall semester) or March (spring semester). You can earn 13 credits by successfully completing this course (F – A+ grading).
