This class will be taught twice per week for 2 hours. You will learn to read, write, speak and understand basic Korean (Hangeul, 한글). You will learn general language skills like introducing yourself, ordering food, counting, telling time, buying things and making a phone call. This class is thought after 18:00 and starts around halfway of September (fall semester) or March (spring semester). You can earn 3 credits by successfully completing this course. (F - A+ grading)
This class is for students who successfully completed Survival Korean Language (level 1) and want to continue studying Korean non-intensively. This class might also be suitable to students who have (very basic) knowledge of Korean already.
This class is taught 5 days per week for 4 hours per day. You will learn to read, write, speak and understand Korean on an advanced level. There are 6 different levels for the intensive Korean language class and you will be assessed to measure your level. Occasionally on Wednesdays cultural excursions are organized for the participating students. For exchange students, only afternoon class (14:00 - 18:00) is available. The program also starts halfway of September (fall semester) or March (spring semester). You can earn 13 credits by successfully completing this course: 12 credits for the classes (F - A+ grading), and 1 credit for the field trips. (pass/fail grading)
Attention: Registration for these courses will not go via Portal Site. You can register for these courses at the start of the semester. Please keep in mind that any other courses you may register for can clash with the schedule of the Korean language class.
